A vehicle has been impounded after reports of anti-social driving of cars in a Gateshead trading area on Sunday night.
Northumbria Police officers attended after being called to reports of anti-social behavior at Team Valley.
Officers applied Section 59 of the Police Reform Act, which gives a uniformed police officer the power to impound a motor vehicle if they have reasonable grounds to believe that it is being used in a manner likely to cause alarm, distress, or likely to cause annoyance to those Citizens.

The Northumbria Police Road Safety Twitter account posted an image of a red car being impounded at 10.36pm on Sunday.
It read: “Tonight our officers attended a report on a number of cars being driven in an anti-social manner at Team Valley #Gateshead.
“One of them was then confiscated. #Sec59”
