Chinese pair join electric car chase | Business

An electric car price was set to erupt this autumn with the arrival in Britain of competition from China.

It is understood that the Chinese carmakers Great Wall, with its Ora brand, and BYD are in talks with dealer networks to start selling their models before Christmas.

Great Wall has said it plans to start selling the Ora Funky Cat, a city runaround, while BYD has indicated that it will launch its Atto 3 family car.
