Huawei is partnering with Chinese automaker SERES to bring the first electric car to market

Rabat – The renowned Chinese smartphone manufacturer Huawei, in cooperation with the component manufacturer SERES, has opened a new chapter in its industrial and technological history to manufacture and market hybrid electric cars.

The two companies unveiled the curtain on their rechargeable hybrid-electric SUV at the Shanghai Auto Show on April 21.

The electric hybrid SUV with the name “Huawei SERES SF5” benefited from a modern design both outside and inside and has the most modern functions.

In terms of the powertrain, the car generates a 1.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine to generate power for the two electric motors, which together generate 551 hp with 820 Nm of torque and go 100 km / h from a standstill in just 4.68 seconds. h can achieve.

The car is designed to stand out from its competitors. It can travel 180 kilometers in a fully electric mode and travel over 1,000 kilometers with the gasoline engine. The relatively long distance covered in electric mode is intended to give Huawei’s hybrid-electric SUV the upper hand over its international competitors.

In terms of options and safety, the car features the latest advances in automatic assisted driving, including adaptive cruise control, slow traffic assist, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking and lane centering.
