A truck driver was charged with drunk driving after being stopped by Bedworth police.
Marius Funica, 40 years old, of Kenilworth Road, Hampton in Arden, was arrested and charged with drunk driving after officers stopped a truck on Bulkington Lane in Bedworth yesterday morning (July 20) at 3:20 am.
The truck allegedly pulled into Bulkington Lane before swerving and nearly crashing into parked cars.
Funica appeared before Coventry Magistrates Court yesterday (July 20) and was remanded in custody on July 27.
